community leaders, New York City Council Members, and members of WMFNYC, Wal-Mart has been kept out of Queens...Wal-Mart who was attempting to sneak into what used to be a 'CALDOR' in Queens, has now been kept out due to the resilient efforts by many activists throught the five boroughs.
